Combined Training (Dressage & Show jumping) and Pure Dressage are two disciplines within the Pony Club. ​Dressage is the foundation upon which all aspects of riding is based. At KHPC general rallies, members will learn the basics of dressage in their flatwork instruction. In addition we aim to offer more intensive dressage training to prepare members for competition. IPC Pony Club Festival:
Area Qualifiers are held nationally where teams of 4 compete to qualify for a place in the Pure Dressage competition at the Festival. There are Junior, Intermediate and Open classes. Eligibility criteria can be found here Dressage & CT rulebook
Combined Training – riding a dressage test and a round of SJ in the following categories; U10s (SJ 65cm), U12s (SJ 75cm), Novice (SJ 80cm), Junior (SJ 90cm), Intermediate (SJ1m) and Open (SJ 1.10m).

National Dressage Day – Individuals can enter directly without having to qualify – It is open to all. Dates and details here IPC news
Halloween Virtual Dressage competition – Videos of riders preforming their chosen test are uploaded and judged by listed judges who
give useful feedback which helps to improve riders skills.  Details are posted closer to the time on the IPC website.
International Virtual Dressage Competition – This is an opportunity for pony club members to take part in an International Virtual Dressage Competition. Details are posted on the IPC website.
Royal Windsor Horse Show – In this competition, teams from different parts of the UK and Ireland compete at the prestigious show. The team is selected by the Dressage committee of the IPC.
The UK Dressage Championships – Ireland is usually invited to send a team to represent the Irish Pony Club at these UK championships.  Usually the winning team at the Irish Pony Club Festival is selected to represent Ireland at this prestigious event.
