About Show Jumping

Show jumping within the Pony Club is one of the core disciplines associated with almost every aspect of riding and Kildare Hunt Pony Club introduce children and their ponies to show jumping at a very early age with cross poles rallies. Club rallies (for all age and abilities) and league competitions provide something for every member and their parents are encouraged to learn the skills and rules involved in showjumping.

Each area of the Irish Pony Club runs an Area Qualifier (we are Area 2) to decide which branches will represent their Area at the championships. The teams placed first and second and third at the qualifier will go on to compete at the Championships (usually in August).
